FeltIQ Terms of Service #

The Short Version #
- FeltIQ is a poker tracking and analytics tool. It is not a gambling platform. No real money changes hands through our app.
- You own your poker data. We don't sell it.
- AI coaching is informational only — it's not professional financial or gambling advice.
- Subscriptions auto-renew. You can cancel anytime through Apple or your app store.
- Don't use the app for anything illegal or to harass others.
- We can't guarantee the AI will always be right or the app will never go down.
If you agree with that, you'll agree with the rest. Here are the details.
1. What FeltIQ Is (and Isn't) #
1.1 What we provide #
FeltIQ is a poker performance tracking and analytics platform. We provide:
- Session logging and bankroll tracking
- AI-powered coaching reports and analytics
- Social features for sharing results (optional)
- Poker tools (calculators, timers)
- A web dashboard at feltiq.app
- Data sync across your devices
1.2 What we are NOT #
- Not a gambling platform. FeltIQ does not facilitate, host, or enable any form of real-money gambling. You cannot place bets, transfer funds to other users, or participate in games of chance through our Service.
- Not a financial advisor. Our analytics show your historical results. They are not investment advice, tax advice, or financial planning.
- Not a substitute for professional help. If you are experiencing problem gambling, please contact the National Council on Problem Gambling at 1-800-522-4700 or visit ncpgambling.org.
2. Your Account #
2.1 Creating an account #
To use FeltIQ, you need an account. You can sign up with Apple Sign-In or email and password. You must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Not create accounts for other people without their permission
2.2 Your account, your responsibility #
You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@virgee.com.
2.3 Deleting your account #
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app, or by visiting feltiq.app/delete-account. When you delete your account:
- Your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days
- Active subscriptions must be canceled separately through Apple (we cannot cancel App Store subscriptions on your behalf)
- Anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., total user counts) may be retained as it cannot identify you
3. Subscriptions & Payments #
3.1 Free and paid tiers #
FeltIQ offers a free tier with core functionality and paid subscription tiers (Pro and Elite) with additional features. Current pricing is displayed in the app and at feltiq.app.
3.2 How billing works #
iOS subscriptions (via Apple):
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
Web subscriptions (via Stripe):
- Payment is charged to the payment method you provide at checkout
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
- You can cancel anytime from your account settings on the web dashboard
- Canceled subscriptions remain active until the end of the current paid period
3.3 Price changes #
We may change subscription prices. If we do:
- We will notify you at least 30 days in advance
- The new price applies at your next renewal, not mid-cycle
- If you don't agree with the new price, cancel before the renewal date
3.4 Refunds #
- Apple purchases: Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.
- Stripe purchases: You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase by contacting support@virgee.com — no questions asked. Renewal payments are non-refundable once processed, except where required by applicable law.
3.5 Free trial #
If we offer a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel. We'll clearly show the trial duration and what happens when it ends before you start.
3.6 Restore purchases #
You can restore previous purchases from Settings → Restore Purchases in the app. This is useful when reinstalling the app or setting up a new device.
4. Your Data & Content #
4.1 You own your data #
Your poker sessions, notes, hand journal entries, and all other content you create in FeltIQ belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your data.
4.2 License you grant us #
By using FeltIQ, you give us a limited license to store, process, sync, and display your data solely to provide the Service to you. This license exists only for the purpose of operating FeltIQ and ends when you delete your account.
For content you choose to make public (social posts, public profile, share cards), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, reproduce, display, distribute, reformat, and publicly perform that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service, subject to your visibility settings. You can change visibility or delete public content at any time, and we will stop displaying it through the Service within a reasonable period. This license does not extend to any use beyond operating the Service, and it terminates when you delete the content or your account — except that (a) residual backup copies may persist for a limited time in our routine backup systems, and (b) copies already shared or re-posted by other users may remain outside our control.
4.3 Data portability #
You can export your session data as CSV at any time from the app. Your data is yours, and you can take it with you.
4.4 Backups and sync #
FeltIQ stores your data locally on your device and syncs it to our cloud servers (Supabase). This means:
- Your data works offline
- It syncs across your devices when connected
- If you lose your device, your data is recoverable after signing in on a new device
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure. See our Privacy Policy for details on data security.
5. AI Coaching #
5.1 What AI coaching does #
FeltIQ uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude API) to analyze your session data and generate coaching reports with insights about your play.
5.2 Important limitations #
AI coaching is for informational and educational purposes only. Specifically:
- AI reports are not professional poker coaching, financial advice, or gambling advice
- AI analysis is based on the data you provide — it cannot account for factors you don't log
- AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, fabricated details, or incomplete analysis (commonly referred to as "hallucinations")
- You should not make financial decisions based solely on AI coaching reports
- AI coaching does not guarantee improved poker results
- The quality and usefulness of reports depends on the quantity and accuracy of your session data
5.3 AI data handling #
We only send anonymized, aggregated session statistics to the AI. We never send your name, email, exact location, or any personally identifiable information. See Section 4 of our Privacy Policy for full details.
5.4 No guarantee of results #
Using FeltIQ, including AI coaching, does not guarantee that you will improve your poker results, increase your win rate, or avoid losses. Poker involves significant variance and skill factors that no tool can fully account for.
6. Acceptable Use #
6.1 Do #
- Use FeltIQ to track your own poker sessions honestly
- Share your results if you want to
- Provide constructive feedback to help us improve
6.2 Don't #
- Log fabricated sessions to manipulate your stats or mislead others
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users through social features
- Impersonate other people or misrepresent your identity
- Spam the social feed or other users
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or compromise the app or our servers
- Scrape or collect other users' data
- Use the app for money laundering or any illegal activity
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans
- Share your account credentials with others
- Violate any applicable law in your jurisdiction
6.3 Consequences #
If you violate these terms, we may:
- Remove offending content
- Temporarily or permanently suspend your account
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement
We'll try to give you a warning first for minor violations, but we reserve the right to take immediate action for serious violations.
7. Social Features & User-Generated Content #
7.1 Your responsibility #
When you post content through social features (session shares, comments, posts), you are responsible for what you share. Don't post anything that:
- Is illegal, threatening, or harassing
- Infringes someone else's intellectual property
- Contains personal information about others without their consent
- Is spam or commercial solicitation
7.2 Content moderation #
We may review and remove content that violates these terms. We also provide tools for you to:
- Report objectionable content
- Block users who are abusive
- Control who sees your content through visibility settings
7.3 Our limited role #
We don't pre-screen all user content and are not responsible for what other users post. If you see something that violates these terms, report it and we'll review it.
7.4 Your warranties for content you post #
When you post content through social features, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the content, or have obtained all rights, licenses, consents, and permissions necessary to post it and to grant us the license in Section 4.2
- Your content does not infringe or violate the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party
- Your content complies with these terms and with all applicable laws
You grant us the right to remove any content that we believe, in our sole discretion, violates these terms, infringes a third party's rights, or exposes us or our users to liability.
8. Intellectual Property #
8.1 Our stuff #
FeltIQ, including its design, code, features, branding, and documentation, is owned by Virgee LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.
8.2 Your stuff #
You retain ownership of all content you create. See Section 4 for the limited license you grant us.
8.3 Feedback #
If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feedback, you grant us the right to use that feedback to improve FeltIQ without any obligation to compensate you.
8.4 Copyright infringement notices (DMCA) #
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe that content available through the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) to our designated agent.
To be effective, your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorized to act on their behalf
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing and its location on the Service (e.g., a URL or post identifier) sufficient for us to locate it
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf

We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the DMCA, including by removing or disabling access to the claimed infringing material and forwarding the notice to the user who posted it. We may terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).
9. Third-Party Services #
FeltIQ integrates with third-party services (Apple Sign-In, Supabase, Anthropic, PostHog, Sentry, RevenueCat). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, but we choose our partners carefully and review their privacy practices.
10. Disclaimers #
10.1 "As is" service #
FeltIQ is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10.2 What this means in plain language #
- We work hard to keep FeltIQ running smoothly, but we can't promise 100% uptime
- We can't guarantee the app will be free of bugs (though we fix them as fast as we can)
- AI coaching provides insights, not guarantees — poker is a game of skill and variance
- Your data syncs reliably in our experience, but technology isn't perfect
- We're a small team building the best product we can
10.3 Not gambling advice #
Nothing in FeltIQ constitutes encouragement to gamble, advice on how much to gamble, or assurance that gambling is profitable. If gambling is causing you problems, seek help from a qualified professional or contact the National Council on Problem Gambling (1-800-522-4700).
11. Limitation of Liability #
11.1 Cap on damages #
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Virgee LLC's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to your use of FeltIQ shall not exceed the greater of:
- The amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or
- One hundred US dollars ($100)
11.2 Exclusion of certain damages #
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits or revenue (from poker or otherwise)
- Loss of data (beyond our reasonable efforts to maintain backups)
- Loss of goodwill
- Emotional distress
11.3 Exceptions #
Nothing in these terms limits liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law
12. Dispute Resolution #
12.1 Let's talk first #
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us at legal@virgee.com first. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication. We commit to responding within 14 business days.
12.2 Informal resolution #
Before initiating any formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally for at least 30 days after the initial written notice.
12.3 Governing law #
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12.4 Jurisdiction #
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sangamon County, Illinois, United States. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.
12.5 Class action waiver #
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative action.
12.6 Time limit #
Any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim, or the claim is permanently barred.
13. Changes to These Terms #
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do:
- Minor changes (typos, clarifications): We update this page and the "Last Updated" date.
- Material changes (new restrictions, pricing changes, liability changes): We notify you at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. If you continue using FeltIQ after the changes take effect, you accept the new terms. If you disagree, you may cancel your subscription and delete your account.
The current version is always available at feltiq.app/terms.
14. General #
14.1 Entire agreement #
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Virgee LLC regarding FeltIQ.
14.2 Severability #
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
14.3 No waiver #
Our failure to enforce any part of these terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
14.4 Assignment #
We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights under these terms.
14.5 Force majeure #
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, pandemics, internet outages, government actions).
15. Apple App Store Terms #
If you downloaded FeltIQ from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply. In the event of any conflict, the terms in this Section 15 control with respect to your use of the iOS app obtained from the App Store.
15.1 Acknowledgment #
These terms are between you and Virgee LLC only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for FeltIQ or its content.
15.2 Scope of license #
The license granted to you to use FeltIQ is limited to a non-transferable license to use the app on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that FeltIQ may also be accessed and used by other accounts associated with the purchaser via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
15.3 Maintenance and support #
Virgee LLC is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for FeltIQ, as specified in these terms or as required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services for FeltIQ.
15.4 Warranty #
Virgee LLC is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of FeltIQ to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for FeltIQ (if any) to you; to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to FeltIQ.
15.5 Product claims #
Virgee LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to FeltIQ or your possession and use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that FeltIQ fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
15.6 Intellectual property rights #
In the event of any third-party claim that FeltIQ or your possession and use of FeltIQ infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Virgee LLC, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
15.7 Legal compliance #
You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist-supporting" country, and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
15.8 Third-party beneficiary #
You and Virgee LLC acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and that upon your acceptance of these terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
16. Indemnification #
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Virgee LLC, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your access to or use of the Service
- Your violation of these terms
- Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party (including intellectual property, privacy, and publicity rights)
- Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service
- Your misuse of other users' information
We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense of the claim. You may not settle any claim covered by this Section without our prior written consent.
17. Export Controls #
The Service may be subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, and to export or import regulations in other countries. You agree to comply with all applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations and sanctions programs administered by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control. You represent and warrant that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country subject to U.S. sanctions, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
