The Short Version #
We collect only what we need to make FeltIQ work for you. We don't sell your data. We don't share your poker results with anyone unless you choose to. Here's the quick summary:

We never:
- Sell your personal data to anyone
- Share your poker results without your explicit consent
- Send your real name, email, or exact location to AI services
- Track you across other apps or websites
- Require data access that isn't necessary for the app to function

1. Who We Are #
FeltIQ is operated by Virgee LLC ("we," "us," "our"). We provide a poker performance tracking and analytics platform through our iOS app and web dashboard at feltiq.app (collectively, the "Service").

2. What Data We Collect #
2.1 Data You Provide Directly #

2.2 Data We Collect Automatically #

2.3 Data We Do NOT Collect #
- We do not collect your contacts, photos, or files
- We do not access your camera or microphone
- We do not read your text messages or call logs
- We do not collect your Apple ID password or financial account credentials
- We do not use the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or track you across apps
- We do not collect biometric data — Face ID authentication is handled entirely by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework on your device; we never see or store your biometric information
3. How We Use Your Data #
We use your data for these purposes and no others:

We do not use your data for:
- Advertising or ad targeting
- Selling to data brokers
- Building profiles for third parties
- Any purpose unrelated to providing and improving FeltIQ
4. AI Coaching & Your Privacy #
FeltIQ uses the Claude API (by Anthropic) to generate AI coaching reports. We take special care with this:
What we send to the AI:
- Aggregated session statistics (total sessions, win rate, average session length, stakes distribution)
- Session patterns (performance by time of day, day of week, session duration)
- Mood and notes you enter (stripped of identifying information)
What we NEVER send to the AI:
- Your real name, email address, or username
- Your exact location or GPS coordinates
- Your financial account information
- Any data that could personally identify you
AI-generated coaching reports are stored on our servers and associated with your account. Anthropic (the AI provider) does not retain your data for training purposes per their API terms, and we use their zero-retention data policy.

We use a limited number of third-party services, each for a specific purpose:

We do not use any advertising SDKs, data brokers, or tracking networks.
6. Data Storage & Security #
Where your data is stored #
- On your device: Session data is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework, protected by iOS Data Protection (NSFileProtectionComplete). Your data works offline and syncs to the cloud when connected.
- In the cloud: Supabase PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3).
- Authentication tokens: Stored in the iOS Keychain, protected by your device passcode and optional biometric lock.
Security measures #
- HTTPS/TLS 1.3 for all data in transit
- Encryption at rest for all cloud-stored data
- Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring you can only access your own data
- Short-lived authentication tokens (1-hour JWTs) with rotating refresh tokens
- Rate limiting to prevent abuse
- No raw user input reaches the database — all inputs are validated and parameterized

When you delete your account, we delete all your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., total user counts, feature usage statistics) may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to you.
8. Your Rights & Choices #
For all users #
You have the right to:
- Access your data — Export all your session data as CSV from the app at any time
- Correct your data — Edit any session, location, or profile information in the app
- Delete your data — Delete individual sessions, or delete your entire account from Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Opt out of analytics — Contact us at privacy@virgee.com to opt out of PostHog analytics
- Withdraw consent — Revoke any optional permissions (location, notifications) from iOS Settings at any time
For EU/EEA residents (GDPR) #
In addition to the above, you have the right to:
- Data portability — Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (CSV export)
- Object to processing — Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Restrict processing — Request we limit how we use your data
- Lodge a complaint — File a complaint with your local data protection authority
- Not be subject to automated decision-making — AI coaching reports are informational only and do not make decisions that affect your legal rights

For California residents (CCPA/CPRA) #
You have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how we use it (this policy)
- Delete your personal information
- Opt out of sale — We do not sell your personal information. Period.
- Non-discrimination — We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights

9. Children's Privacy #
FeltIQ is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at privacy@virgee.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. International Data Transfers #
Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers are located. If you are located outside the United States, by using FeltIQ you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
11. Changes to This Policy #
When we make changes to this policy:
- Minor changes (clarifications, formatting): We update this page and the "Last Updated" date.
- Material changes (new data collection, new third-party services, changes to your rights): We notify you via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
